This bag was made especially for my friend Reb who LOVES bright colours. Knitting with these vibrant colours was fun and it felted nicely.
This blog started out as a way to share my quilts but it is growing to include knits, recipes, ideas, who knows what else............

Mmmmmmmmmmm.... amazing batiks in blue, turquoise, purple, green, combinations of all of these colours.......... Brilliant shades make this a passionate quilt. The photograph doesn't do this quilt justice - the colours are actually much deeper and stronger. This photo will have to do until the weather warms up and I can photograph it outside, maybe down by the beach as this one reminds me of the colours of Lake Huron on a sunny and windy day! The backing is navy flannel that frames each square with frayed edging that makes it look a little like stained glass.

SHANTIKNITS
I will be adding a few "Shantiknits" items to this blog over the next few weeks.... sweaters, felted bags, hats and mittens.
This felted bag is made from Icelandic wool - very soft and fuzzy. The colours are rich and warm and the strap easily adjustable. If you are interested in purchasing this terrific bag, you can find it at www.shantiquilts.etsy.com.
