This large baby quilt is designed to grow with your little one. It is a soft, colourful place for baby to play or lie on and is sure to become a favourite blankie as she grows older. It will be a great comfort quilt for a toddler and will continue to be a snuggly lap quilt for a growing child. It is big enough to use as a lap quilt forever - and it will grow softer and fluffier with each washing.

This baby quilt is full of stripes, polka dots and checkers. Babies love its softness and children like the patterns and fluffy edges - sure to be enjoyed for many years.

I usually have a few beautiful quilts available for shipping and I am always happy to do custom orders. There is nothing like having a gorgeous, soft quilt made just for you in your favourite colours!

All Shantiquilts are made with 100% cotton materials - flannels, denim, homespun and all cotton batting. Each quilt is carefully designed and sewn with care so they can withstand lots of use and loving. They are prewashed in a natural hypo-allergenic laundry soap to get that delightful frayed edge look. Shantiquilts just get softer and fluffier with each washing!

Shantiquilts are priced according to the materials and time that go into making each one. Generally the pricing is as follows, unless a particularly detailed pattern is used.

• Full - $500
• Queen - $600
• King - $800

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Shipping and handling will be added to your order - provincial sales tax will be added for residents of Ontario. I accept Paypal (which includes mastercard and Visa) and money orders in Canadian or U.S. funds.

Here is an incredibly soft, warm Shantiquilt. I have one more available for $250 Canadian. There is nothing like snuggling under this quilt with a good book or taking a nap with it!

This was my first frayed edge quilt - lots of vibrant flannels that glow like watercolours.

Shantiquilts

This is my most recent Shantiquilt. It has already been sold but I want to make another right away - the fabrics are so cheerful and fun to work with! This would make a great cottage quilt or cheerful quilt to snuggle up with in the middle of winter.
